Inviting unique perspectives. Driving innovation. Cultivating our culture.
At Cooper, everyone's contribution counts, and that's why inclusion and diversity are so important. It isn't just the right thing to do; it's what makes our company the best it can be. We value and encourage different perspectives and backgrounds to help drive innovation and success. We are committed to building a culture of belonging where employees are accepted for who they are and can make meaningful connections that help them unlock and achieve their full potential.
To make this happen, we have established four key priorities for inclusion and diversity at Cooper:
We promote ongoing communication and training throughout the organization to further inform, educate and instill inclusion and diversity into the fabric of our company.
We're continuing to develop training materials, toolkits and webinars for employees across various levels and geographies. As an example, Cooper launched a 'leading with inclusion' program for director-level or higher leaders across the company to develop their capabilities for building more inclusive workplaces, managing diverse teams, and serving diverse customers and business partners without unconscious bias. We are building upon the success of the program with additional regionally or locally focused trainings with the same caliber of delivery and conversation for our manager, supervisor and individual contributor populations.
We want to listen, we want to learn and we want to keep the conversation going about inclusion and diversity at Cooper.
Forming communities of advocates and allies helps advance our culture of inclusion and diversity at Cooper. We're also exploring and getting involved in professional associations and other external groups to learn and exchange best practices for inclusion and diversity to share across Cooper and strengthen our efforts.
