Energy and Emissions

In 2023, we made significant progress towards developing a baseline for Scope 3 emissions. We are working to collect and review our Scope 3 measurements for comparison against this baseline in future reporting.

We have achieved 100% renewable electricity sourcing at all CooperVision sites in New York and the U.K.

Eight of our facilities align to internationally recognized green building standards, like LEED® and BREEAM®, including LEED Gold at CooperVision Puerto Rico and Costa Rica.

A Combined Heat and Power (CHP) system serves CooperVision Puerto Rico’s power needs. By capturing and reusing excess heat, our natural gas-fueled CHP is a reliable, cost-effective and sustainable solution.
